Principles Agency has created the Spring/Summer 2011 TV ad for Vertbaudet – – the children’s leading European retail brand, part of the Redcats Group.

This is the second TV ad that has been produced by Leeds-based Principles Agency – in recent months. The agency won the creative TV production pitch against London and European agencies last year.

The 30-second DRTV ad can be seen on air now across a wide range of channels, including ITV Breakfast (formerly GMTV), ITV2, Fiver, Living, Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Disney XD.

Michelle Ramirez, brand manager at Redcats said: “This consecutive ad follows the huge success of our ‘UK-first’ TV ad that aired in the UK and across Europe. The children’s retail market remains competitive, so we believe this highly inspirational TV ad will further support Vertbaudet’s brand positioning and sales of the new Spring/Summer 2011 collection.”

Helen North, account director at Principles Agency commented: “This latest TV ad continues to deliver the concept of ‘children being children’, depicting fun, freedom and the brand’s French heritage. It targets more affluent mums with young children primarily of pre-school age, who want to convey style and individuality through exclusive, quality children’s clothing.”

Principles Agency has worked with Vertbaudet since 2009. The agency has created seasonal direct marketing campaigns, focusing on both customer recruitment and retention. Campaigns aim to drive orders through the catalogue channel and the retail website at .
