Principles Agency’s Sarah Wareham is ‘Top Student’

Sarah W Top Student award

Principles Agency’s senior planner, Sarah Wareham is celebrating having achieved the ‘Top Student award’ in the Professional Diploma category at the recent Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Yorkshire centenary celebrations.

Awarded by the CIM, this accolade recognises the most outstanding professional marketing students in Yorkshire.

Peter van Delft, customer services coordinator for Cambridge Professional Academy, the school that supported the programme of studies said: “We are extremely proud of Sarah’s achievements and feel honored to have been able to guide her through the qualification. She has been an exceptional student and we hope that all she has learned will help her achieve her career aspirations.”

Sarah completed the CIM course on a distance learning basis within eight months rather than the recommended two years, fast-tracking her way through this intense course covering four modules including ‘The Marketing Planning Process’ and ‘Delivering Customer Value Through Marketing’.

Sarah commented: “I am both delighted and pleasantly surprised to receive this award. To receive such recognition for the standard of my work is brilliant, on top of the sense of personal and professional satisfaction that comes from achieving my CIM Diploma.

“I wouldn’t have been able to complete the course to such a high standard without the great support that I received from my employer, Principles Agency, my tutors and Cambridge Professional Academy throughout my studies.”

Last year, Sarah was awarded ‘Emerging Marketer of the Year’ in The Drum’s national Marketing Effectiveness Awards.
